This project entailed the construction of a six-metre extension at a property in Leyton, as well as a complete house refurbishment.
In order to realise this project, we undertook work ranging from the removal of load bearing walls and the creation of a pitch roof to the installation of a Vaillant boiler with a Nest thermostat, along with underfloor heating.
The finer details of this project’s realisation included the cleaning of the property’s front bricks, pointing, and the slabbing of the front garden. We also oversaw the construction on-site of a new front wooden door frame, the installation of uPVC windows and lead glass, the installation of RSJs, and the incorporation of roof lights.
Our extension and refurbishment of the building also saw us fit a log burner, put in place parquet flooring, and fit an unvented cylinder.
Further steps that we took in our work to improve this property encompassed the installation of bi-folding doors, the construction of a new garden shed, the fitting of garden grass, and even a made-to-measure BBQ fitting.
New NICEIC wiring was also introduced to the property, new cast iron radiators were installed on the first floor, and there was even a new bespoke kitchen fitted. We also had a new WC created under the staircase, had new architraves, skirting and doors fitted, and gave the building a fresh application of paint to further improve its presentation.
